We develop large scale, contract supported industrial projects with a strong economic base. Electricity generating power plants, industrial manufacturing facilities, and natural resource recovery based operations are examples of the kinds of projects we have developed.

From the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s, The Company focused on the development of large scale independent power plant ("IPP") projects. During this period, we became extensively involved with the IPP industry and successfully developed two major projects collectively representing an investment exceeding $220 million. In the mid-1990s, we withdrew from actively pursuing new IPP projects because of excessive competition. However, the increase in natural gas prices in 2001 created an opportunity for the Company to develop solid fuel power projects and utilize its experience.
